Ohayou!

I am a relatively recent follower of anime. I really only found myself invested in Japanese animation after leaving university. Prior to this my limited exposure to the medium was Ghibli movies and Poke'mon.

AND SO I CRAMMED. Many weekend's were spent watching seasons upon seasons of anime. My desk at work is decorated with figures as is my home and I love it.

I am slowly picking up Japanese language, working for a subsidiary of SEGA we get free classes at work which is cool. I work in the games industry as a systems and features designer.

Feel free to send me a friend request or post me a message. I enjoy chatting to other collectors, especially about anime and video games.

Ah, but others (especially "adults") just love to judge people for basically everything, no? Maybe because they gave up their real fun? Pleasant charm, dunno... don't really care about my looks.^^ Hmmm, 27... I think 29 is where I'll make up my mind (and I'll celebrate that until 2025 or something). :3
I did, and now I'm tired (being old sure is tough).^^

And why not? For most people being an adult means letting go of all the fun stuff (everything considered childish, which includes our beloved hobbies), I really don't see the value in that tbh.^^ I never get asked for my ID when buying alcohol, maybe I just look that old. ;_;
Kind of what I'm planning to do, I like to celebrate, but on the day itself I want to do something less stressful like going out to eat something good and do some (window) shopping.

Aww, thank you! :3
Though tbh my birthday is tomorrow (mfc is buggy in that regard) and it'll actually be the 28th (the big 3 is getting closer x_X). The 20's sure are great and in my heart I'll always stay there. :3

That's awesome!! That's the game that got my bro to buy a new laptop. I love me some Warhammer, great fan of the books and lore; mainly 40k now but Fantasy is what pulled me in. What a job, 'grats!

Agreed, giving it some time is definitely the way to go. And shouldn't the price drop a little at first, once more figs are won in the lotteries? Also tabletop miniatures? Like say Warhammer, 40k by any chance? (・∀・) . Props to you if you can find and master suitable shades and techniques to paint the fig yourself. I'm really curious as to how that would turn out!!

I didn't know that, I'm actually yet to watch Re:Zero, I literally picked megumin up since solaris japan had an amazing deal on for their 10th anniversary. Thanks for accepting my friend request & look forward to watching my wallet capsize haha. :)

Was it from Banpresto? From what I've heard their prize figures are pretty neat, for instance ITEM #427589 (murialita has a review of it on YT)

It was ITEM #297649, maybe it is just pot luck. But that seems a real shame on a decent sculpt and something you have to ship from the other side of the world.

I feel you. I do not own any prize figures as of yet, but I can understand how super stressful and frustrating it is to have to deal with the unreliability of the paint job for Ichiban Kuji, whose long shipping process is of course just as tedious as for regular scales. And what a shame it is to get a miss when actual effort was put into the sculpt!
I guess asking for pictures from the lottery winner / reseller first really is the only insurance policy... In any case, you can feel good about how your figure's stand is wonderfully not wobbly at all, right?!! Or is it? (ס_ס;;)

I used to be, but it's only my minor and I've finished my language classes quite some time ago (they're actually blocking the minors from taking the advanced classes).

Well, our needs as figure collector's are awfully specific so finding just the right item is quite a challenge. I made some compromises too concerning the ones I bought, but they fit their purpose well enough.

Tbh I do, maybe I just don't have a thing for characters like her, but I find almost all Fate heroines to be more 'interesting'. It's not that I hate her as a character though and I like her design so I don't really see this as a drawback.

I'll be watching that Megumin figure too, just like Aqua ITEM #740484 (I really love the base and pose). I'm glad you have a Semiramis figure to look forward too.

For me well, the 10 Count scales and Nendos are painted and they look great. Then there is ITEM #675995, which might become the best Nanachi scale so far. I'm also really looking forward to ITEM #740212 since I loved Yuru Camp. Other than that there is a ton of Nendos and figmas (I'm especially happy about ITEM #740173, ITEM #740098, ITEM #740143, ITEM #740146, ITEM #740156 and ITEM #675898).
Oh and 2 NSFW figure announcements look promising in my eyes ITEM #740443 and ITEM #740386.
That's already a lot and it's just the short version. x_X
