Comparing with original images i think you are good, you can even go a little higher.
I see the tips should be at around eyes height. Or you can just let them as they are and nobody will know the difference ;)

As long as you don't have something to support the wings they will continue to sag so can't do anything about that.
The sponge is fine, it wont transfer paint as long as its white / not colored cotton or wool or it is a synthetic material. I just use cotton swabs. Someone suggested clear Lego briks.
Alternatively you could try to suspend the wings from above with some clear fishing line if you have something to hook them to.

Pokaż zawartość spoileraUkryj zawartość spoilerarestiaest8 d. temu#81384143i tried the hot water method, manage to kinda push it back up, seems to be working fine but doesnt seem to hold quite well. is the wing too high up? i used chopstick plus (sponge) as a support. Will the sponge cause any paint transfer?
sorry to trouble you, but if anyone has additional advice please add on as well :)

restiaest9 d. temu#81338817Thanks, will try to do so, hope it turns out well! :Dmetallandrei9 d. temu#81338809Try using a hair dryer to soften and pull them up and then use supports.
Just be careful, it doesn't need to much heat to get them going and to much can damage the paint.
Another option would be to pull them out, put them in a sealed bag and submerge them in warm water and then try to reshape them and put back in.
