FgrClctnFinally had time to unpack my example received from HobbyFan. They had advertised it as Diskvision, but what was delivered says "Sparkle" (?!). It is packaged differently than the e2046 version; the legs are permanently attached, and the base is plain white. Although it is overall nice, it is obviously not as advertised: i.e. a re-cast knockoff. It is a nice piece for what I paid ( a bargain considering scale ) however, I would love to see it authentically released in PVC by Daiki.

Uh... yeah - HobbyFan and E2046 are both re-casts. But I think HobbyFan's paint work might be better than E2046's (based on past experience). And something about Elsa's face seem a little different on the Hobby Fan's version, can't really put my finger on it. How do you find the quality comparison?

Hope there'll be a PVC version as well, but highly doubt it. =(

A work relation? Probably, yes. The license stays with Diskvision. It's not new casts but its official. Just like Vispo's named on Daiki's Seyada Tara PVC box.

It doesn't matter if E2046 or HobbyFan names Diskvision or any other manufacturer because theirs are unofficial recasts.

HobbyFan has it now. Got the request for payment today. So it'll be shipped, and I'll get it by the weekend. Hopefully it will meet expectations. Update: HobbyFan was in southern California for the Anime Expo show. Finally got the shipping notice today. Might be here tomorrow 07/09/11

Does Daiki have a relation to Diskvision? Is there a license or royalty agreement between them for the previous figures of Eve, Ryomou, and Rouge noted below? These last few had relatively short PVC release times from the recasts showing up. Maybe someone is catching on that there is a market for the legitimate preferred by collectors. I may have to rethink my HobbyFan order, although their listing does title it "diskvision". In any case, I don't want to miss this one.

I looked into it too. There aren't any.

Best we can do is hope Daiki offers us PVC's of this and Angelika like they did Eve, Ryomou Shimei and Rouage.

Can anyone tell me whether there IS actually an "original" version of this figure from Diskvision that is prepainted as shown on the figure and that one can actually - at least in principle - purchase? I'm kind of confused. It seems to me that, profesionally painted, there are only the HobbyFan and the e2046 recasts for purchase. All of them have slight differences from the pictures from the diskvision webpage.

Maybe someone knows...

Yeah, that's the one. Even as a recast, I'm considering buying it just because it's pre-painted, and I know I'd do a terrible job of painting the actual garage kit myself. The outfit doesn't bother me too much since I plan on primarily displaying her nude, and despite the subpar quality, the outfit might actually come in handy if I have a need to hastily cover her up (unexpected visitors, etc.).

In any case, thanks for the info. It was a huge help.
