Awe, I see. Thank you for that bit of information. I was under the impression that if it didn’t have a sticker it would be fake. The box actually had a sticker that said “sales outside Japan only”, if that clarifies anything.

    Thank you, again!

mixxedcolors (1 mies. temu) #31582319Hello! I’m going to try this again. I’m very, very new to all of this, and I’m so lost on how to post things. I did have a question, though. So, I’m just trying to get into figure collecting, but I’m aware that bootlegs are around, so I tried to look up sites that were reputable. I heard that rightstuf anime was a safe place to buy from, so when I heard they would be at an anime convention I went to this past weekend, I bought 2 figures from them without hesitation. It wasn’t until I got to see the figures up close in their boxes I saw that the boxes had “MADE IN CHINA” at the bottom of them. Also, there was no like sticker of authenticity.
Does this mean that I received fake figures? And is rightstuf still a trustworthy site? Possibly this only happened because it was at a convention... I’m not sure?

I have never ever heard of anyone getting bootlegs from Rightstuf. Now there is talks about sometimes bootlegs figures making its way to conventions, but if it was an actual Rightstuf booth I don't think that would happen. A lot of figures are actually made in China, and some don't have stickers of authenticity though. Have your tried looking up the figure you bought on the convention in here to see if it looks like the ones in the photos? If yours look like the ones in the photos I don't think it could be a bootleg.

darkvoodoo (1 mies. temu) #31415994Is it allowed to post this kind of figure on this website? It made me feel uncomfortable, so I felt the need to at least get other peoples input on the matter.
    ITEM #144282 (NSFW)
It's allowed on the website, since it's a figure released by a Japanese company, but opinions definitely vary when it comes to whether or not it's ethical. There aren't really any rules that remove figures for being disgusting from one persons perspective, but I absolutely understand what you mean.
You can hide NSFW content if you're not comfortable with it.
