MaakieHello MFC! And welcome to another blog in my collection series! These blogs cover figures from my collection that have been in storage for a long time due to my emigration. I also use this as an opportunity to practice with my new camera and also appreciate the items I have been owning for a longer time!
The figures we are going to look at today are a bit of a random selection:

Pocket Monsters - Mewtwo - D-Arts (Bandai) ITEM #128905
I definitely have a love-hate relationship with this figure...
I am a huge fan of Mewtwo ever since I saw the first Pokémon movie. Nowadays there are multiple higher quality offerings if you want a Mewtwo figure, but back when this figure got announced (2012) this was going to be the first high quality action figure, so I jumped onto ordering him.
The QC on this figure is of varying quality, but the absolute worst is how hard it is to pose this figure. With the main issue of his fingers being very easy to pop out. So trying to move his arms or even more, like trying to let him hold any parts, results in the fingers dropping from the hand at the slightest touch. Getting the figure into this posing was quite a hassle and I don't plan on touching him soon again. I just carefully placed Mewtwo in this posing in my display cabinet and won't touch him again until it's time to do the next dust cleaning.
The first release of this figure came with an additional Mew. Which just like Mewtwo is of varying QC quality. Both my Mew and Mewtwo have quite a lot of random paint spots on them.
Overall I would say Mewtwo looks cool, but if I could have looked forward in time and knew he would get an Amiibo and a Nendoroid I would not have bought this figure.
When placed in natural light you can see the cool transparent pieces of the Shadow Ball (which is not supposed to be hold like this, but uskdkjsahdadjhak those fingers!). You can also see that the sculpting of the face is pretty nice. Although the face only looks good from the right side on my copy, as the left side has more paint defects.

Silent Hill 2 - Bubble Head Nurse - Figma (#SP-061) (FREEing) ITEM #198486
From all the Figma I have ever owned (I actually used to be a Figma collector in my early days!), this is definitely the most high quality one I have ever had. I also earlier made an extensive review BLOG #42598 of this figure shortly after I unboxed her for the first time.
I am absolutely not as good as others when trying to pose her creepily, but I am happy with this attempt.
Something that hugely impressed me from the moment I unboxed this figure was her paint job. I did not expect it to look as good as the prototype figure, those veins, wow!!!
It looks like she is getting a re-issue this year, so if you like this figure, make sure to get that re-issue before she gets expensive again!

Biohazard 2 - Licker - POP! Games (158) - POP! Vinyl (Funko Toys) ITEM #518248
I know there is a lot of hate for Funko POPs on this site and I actually don't like most of them either, but in my opinion there are some nice ones out there, mostly the non-human ones. I earlier got lured into picking up the Licker from Resident Evil and reviewed him before BLOG #42771 as well.
Far from perfect, but can't really complain about that with his low MSRP.
I like how all the muscles have been sculpted and shaded.
I would recommend this one to fellow RE fans!

Chrono Crusade - Rosette Christopher - C-Model - Dragon Heroine Festival - Dragon Heroine Selection (2) - Clear Ver. (MegaHouse) ITEM #582948
In the 90's and early 2000's it was very common for trading figure sets to come with secret clear versions, which were transparent figures of the same sculpt as the more regular painted ones. Let me tell you that I definitely do not miss this trend as a lot of transparent figures are very hard to read. I did buy this specific transparent figure (covered in this older loot blog BLOG #40389 ) as there is not much Chrono Crusade merchandise out there and I saw her for sale very cheap.
The first thing I noticed when I started making pictures is how much this item had yellowed in the 2 years since I unboxed it. Granted, the main image on the database entry also shows it yellowed, but mine was actually clear when I got her originally PICTURE #2009248 ! So the 2 years of being out of her original plastic made her this color.
She is high in detail and comes with a lot of parts, but I would only recommend her to Chrono Crusade completionists.

Lucky☆Star - Strike Witches - Izumi Konata - Niitengo - Miyafuji Yoshika Cosplay ver. (Kadokawa, Toy's Works) ITEM #99405
Before we had the Lucky Star x Kantai Collection collaboration there was also this small collaboration with Strike Witches! Where we see Konata cosplaying Miyafuji Yoshika ENTRY #2026 ! I remember I purchased this figure about 9 years ago at a now closed (RIP) anime forum. It seems like this figure nowadays goes for a lot less than what I bought her for, I think this has to do with the supply and demand on the market for both Strike Witches and Lucky Star items. Shortly after I originally got her I also made a mini review BLOG #6179 .
Although she doesn't really have a 'wow' factor when it comes to sculpt or paint, this is a very cute chibi offering for fans of either Konata or Strike Witches. I like how accurate the outfit is, just like how Konata would cosplay her as well!
A huge downside of this figure are the fitting issues her arms have. Her arms should be able to get displayed in all kinds of poses, but they are very prone to falling off. So this is the best display to go with for my copy of the figure.

Unfortunately those duckies have not released yet! I also have not found a good place to order them yet as every option so far piles me with customs charges making those cute little duckies a not so cute price anymore compared to what I paid for the first set. :c
