Voted ID:Invaded, as it would be my very close second, but my personal first (wrote it in) is Taiso Samurai. The feels and the catharsis... man. I'd say they're probably on par with each other, but Samurai, IMO, sticks the landing a bit better, and I'm a sucker for things that know how to end.

Voted Eizouken for #1! Hard to pick the others, as there were several shows I really enjoyed about equally. Journey of Elaina feels like a really underrated anime, and Bofuri was hilarious so I went with those, but I wish I could give Dorohedoro a vote, too. Honorable mentions to Fruits Basket s2, Yashahime, and KumaKumaKumaKumaKuma which was a cute show in spite of the dumb name.

the only new anime (not including seasons) i watched this year have been interspecies reviewers and eizouken lmao. both were great in their own ways, especially eizouken. what did everyone else vote for? :o

Not a single one of the good animes of 2020 I watched is on this list. :D I'm mainly thinking about The Day I Became A God, Golden Kamuy & Great Pretender.

Voted Eizouken for best anime since it's one of two that actually grabbed me this year.

Had a hard time voting for the best gunpla because there are tons of good releases this year.
