How to remove a stain in a second-hand figure?How to remove a stain in a second-hand figure?

So, today I finally received a second-hand mini figure I really wanted and, already knowing the stain issue, I bought it regardless, thinking it might go away easily like usual (bought a few second-hand figures and never had any issues removing stains)

As of now I tried a gentle make-up remover (my skin is extremely sensitive) and normal soap but nothing changed. What could I use to remove the stain? More importantly: is there a way to remove it?

Whatever the answer is, I know it's a second-hand item so I'm already prepared if there's no solution

My method might sound a tad risky, bit it has worked well for me. I've mainly done this on more serious cases such as large and hard paint marks. So I'd suggest this only for more stubborn cases when washing or rubbing something on doesn't work.

What I do when there is a paint transfer is I take an Exacto Knife and lightly brush the blade across the affected area. You have to use a light touch and don't apply any pressure, so you may find your self scratching on the area for a couple of minutes so you only scratch the transferred paint off. I've done this on many items on my collection and it has worked well with no incidents of damage. If you have just a small dot or something, you can try one of the other methods people list to rub it off.

FigureDuchess (3 d. temu) #76886713Make-up remover and soap will not help against paint transfer.
Try using acetone-free nail polish remover on a q-tip,
if that doesn't help: acetone on a q-tip, but be very very gentle with your wipes.
