Monster girls: To order or not to order?Monster girls: To order or not to order?

Hello everyone

I have a question. I absolutely love anime involving monster girls or characters with fantasy like races or basically inhuman (literally) characters. For example I like monster musume, demi chan wa kataritai, uma musume pretty derby, to love ru, jitsu wa watashi wa and ofcourse yuragi sou yuuna san.

Sadly not all of them have figures (others are way too expensive: rosario vampire). But yuragi sou has figures. The problem is that I don't know if they're worth it especially since my dad is getting annoyed at my collection (but I'm 26 so it's actually my choice so no need to comment on this part). But I NEED to have figures of this series. I love it to bits and am reading the manga as well online, so yeah I'm heavily invested in the story.I'm not including the aniplex yuuna because aniplex is kinda hard to come by in my opinion..

Another figure I like is jashin chan from the anime dropkick on my devil. I like her because she's a monster girl and the manga is pretty okay for the most part. Not at all as attached to it as yuragi sou but just thinking she'd look fantastic next to Mia from monster musume :) oh and the anime for dropkick on my devil,is meh at best for me repetitive and predictable is an understatement when describing it.

Now I don't know what I should do or better what I should order and made a poll to get a bit of advice. Please fill this in to help me decide which action I should take.

EDIT: please explain your choices in the comments so I know why you advice what you picked out.

Thank you for reading and taking your time to help me :)

Well I'm dumb. Was doubting and wanted to see how much she was and if she'd be released in a busy month. Well the pre-orders have closed so no ghost waifu for me and without her the other two feel really incomplete..

So I got jashin chan as fast as I could before my indecisiveness costs me more potential additions to the collection

Nendos can go very well with scales, eg. Dog Days :

Had no choice in this case since there are no Ricotta, Eclair, Harlan or Daumas scales. I admit that I purchased the Millhiore and Leonmitchelli nendos strictly for the cercles (the actual characters are on display at the office) :P

It's kind of annoying that it seems the more mediocre companies are getting the monster girl licences. This post doesn't make me feel you're really attached to owning the figures, so I'm not sure a PO is the way to go if you're this much on the fence.
I'd say consider how you'd feel if they came out mediocre vs missing out on them. Would you be happy to make a loss, if you ended up not liking it? How bad would it be if you ended up not getting them?

I wouldn't necessarily discount Aniplex, but it will depend how much your budget is. They're likely to be on the pricey side. I order my Aniplex stuff through Big In Japan or Nippon Yasan, as they'll proxy it for me.

randomfigurelove (12 d. temu) #38556345You're otaku and a figure collector at that. Those outside the fandom very seldom come to understand. Usually the best that one can hope for is toleration. Buy the figures that you like. If it's a figure you MUST have then the only guarantee to get it is pre-order. That being said many sites have pre-owned sections (I'm thinking of ami-ami in particular), and figures from YEARS ago float around and they are in very good condition. Usually most fans take good care of their stuff so a number of pre-owned things I've bought are basically like new, or simply need a little love and are as good as new for half the price or even lower sometimes. The torture comes in having to wait for people to buy the figure, and then get tired enough of it or need the space and sell it off.

Yeah that's assuming they don't shoot up in price in the aftermarket :(

Ps:the toleration bit is so true, my ex tolerated my collection but now that I'm single and looking for a girlfriend I'm so very afraid my collecting will be dealbreaker and on top of that I'm not the most confident and outgoing person (quite the opposite) and my looks are kinda average

freezermilk (11 d. temu) #38561813my compromise is... well, yuuna is getting a cup noodle figure, and jashin is getting a nendo so... I can get all my "meh anime, but it's a MONSTER GIRL" figures on the cheap this time around ;P
