    maggie (1 r. temu) #16914696I was actually wondering why GSC doesn't release some casual clothes sets. Gym clothes, tank top, tshirt, shorts, pants, hoodie, button down for male and female. For people that like to play w nendos but don't want to buy a whole nendo just for ONE clothing item, this would be amazing, and I think would sell well. Not as distinct as a hair style, but I feel badly needed for play with our favorite nendos. Just basic, casual clothes.

    You pretty much answered it yourself.
    Whole nendoroid is more profitable than one face, body, whatever.
    People who want parts to play go and buy whole nendoroid right now. So what reason have GSC to decrease their profits?

    Looking at prices of Co-De, some gym set of body with arms and legs will probably cost almost as much as random nendoroid.

    ney (1 r. temu) #16899501>so hairstyles seem like a natural next step.

    Discutable assumption. The hairstyle is a big part of the identity of a character and the Nendoroid More line-up is oriented to provide additional tools to enhance the normal line-up.

    Basically, it won't be a surprise to see soon some yukata/kimono, sportswears, trendy clothes, new emotions faceplates or accessories but hairstyles probably won't come in a near future plus the fact GSC actually prefers to propose more Nendoroid Co-de.

    This is why I included the point about the Nendoroid line's lack of original characters. Not sure it'll happen, but it's a direction I would love for them to go in. Original character lines like Cu-Poche Friends and Polynian seem to do well for their makers (Pinky:st, which I mentioned in my post, was highly popular during its heyday), and a fair number of Nendoroid More items are limited/exclusive releases anyway. Besides, since GSC already creates original hairstyles to show off Nendoroid More sets (like PICTURE #1017545, and PICTURE #1341028, and PICTURE #1664845), why not sell them, too?

    Hairstyles being a big part of an established character's design, how about a compromise: Nendoroid More Hats. These could still involve generic hair parts, perhaps tucked under the hat, but they'd be closer to the animal-themed faceplate cases in preserving who a character is while not relying so much on the hair to do so.

    That would be great-- I'd like to see the cheerleader faces, myself-- but at least there's the Nendo More faceplates. Hairstyles currently have no such equivalent ;_;

    I think hairstyles really show who a character is, so I wouldn't necessarily want a random hairstyle. I think it'd be really cute to have Nendoroid More Christmas outfits! Like a Santa suit, Santa dress, and elf outfits~

    I'm interesting in more variations of Wedding (Ball) dresses: lilac, green, red-with-gold dress anyone.
    Also kimono sitting bodies, male and female. Since they rereleased Japanese room sets these would be useful.
    Fundoshi and swimsuits with more skin color variety. Archer from FSN and Korra are crying now. Even Raiden has different skintone than fundoshi body.

    I think it's a cute idea. Some colors wouldn't be feasible to make but they could easily produce black, brown, and blonde pieces and they'd probably be well received. If it happens it's likely not even on their radar, but it has my vote.
